About Me
I entered the field of therapy several years ago with an eagerness and a passion for helping others.
I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Masters in Marriage, Family, and Child
Counseling in 2000. I then began on the journey to licensing. I worked with a diverse population and in a
variety of settings. I currently hold licenses in the states of California and Michigan.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I can treat a diverse clientele, ranging across socio-
economic, ethnic, and gender lines. I am bilingual in English and Arabic. My specialties include childhood
and adolescent disorders, depression, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, women’s issues, and life
transitions. I believe in providing the best care possible to my clients.
My clinical background stems from my work at various organizations in Southern California. These
agencies which were contracted by the Department of Mental Health provided rigorous training and a
multitude of experiences.
I continuously strive to learn and grow as a therapist by maintaining active memberships in many
professional organizations and attending professional workshops regarding the latest research in
therapeutic techniques.
Through my training and experiences I have learned various ways of conducting therapy. I believe in
utilizing a combination of techniques and strategies to provide quality, tailor-made care to meet the
unique needs of each individual.
